How does it calculate my calories?

With formulas, not with an AI: Mifflin-St Jeor basal metabolic rate, multiplied by your activity (how much you move day to day plus how much you train), and adjusted for how fast you want to lose or gain weight. Protein is set per kilo of body weight and fat as a percentage.

What does the AI do, and what doesn’t it do?

There’s an optional assistant, on Pro, you can ask questions or ask for a summary of your week; it reasons over what you’ve already logged. What it never does is estimate your calories, macros or expenditure: those always come from formulas and each food’s data.

Does it work on Android?

Yes, on iPhone and Android. On iPhone it connects to Apple Health and Apple Watch; on Android, to Health Connect, for steps, sleep and heart rate.

Where does the food data come from?

Packaged products come from OpenFoodFacts when you scan the barcode. Basic foods (fruit, vegetables, meat, rice…) are hand-checked generic entries with USDA reference values. And anything that doesn’t exist, you create once.

Can I bring my data from MyFitnessPal or Cronometer?

Yes, with Pro you can import your history from MyFitnessPal or Cronometer and export everything of yours to CSV or JSON whenever you like.

How do I cancel or delete my account?

Subscriptions are cancelled from the App Store or Google Play, like any other. The account and all its data are deleted from the app itself, under Profile, or by emailing support.
